A new teaser trailer for WWE 2K22 aired during WWE SummerSlam, revealing a March 2022 release date. The game has already been getting praise from those close to the project, who say that it is fantastic and very promising. This follows the disastrous launch of WWE 2K20 on PlayStation 4, which resulted in refunds being given to players. It also caused the developer to take a step back and not release a WWE 2k21. The games are usually released in October or November; the March release may be so the game gets more time for testing. It could also be to celebrate the anniversary of the first game, which launched in March 2000 for PlayStation.

The new trailer confirms that the likes of Sheamus, Ricochet, Bayley, Carmella, Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, The Miz, Rhea Ripley, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kane, Goldberg, Bobby Lashley, Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre will also be in the game.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
