Bloober Team has released a new trailer for its third-person psychological horror game, The Medium. The trailer provides a look at the PS5 version of the game. Originally announced in June, the PS5 version will take full advantage of the DualSense controller.

The trailer features music by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski, with vocals from Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. The developers are planning to release a new soundtrack on vinyl and CD in October. A collector’s edition SteelBook called The Medium: Two Worlds Special Edition will include the soundtrack and a printed art book. It is planned for release this holiday.

The Medium is coming to the PlayStation 5 computer entertainment system on Sept. 3, 2021. Following a successful global launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S on Jan. 28, 2021, Bloober Team is excited to bring The Medium to PS5 to take advantage of the console hardware as well as the DualSense controller, offering players the experience of exploring two worlds simultaneously.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
