CD PROJEKT RED released a new slide deck as part of its H1 2021 earnings presentation for investors today, and it’s got some interesting information for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 owners who have been waiting to enjoy two of the company’s biggest games on their next-gen consoles.

One slide reveals that CD PROJEKT RED plans to release the next-gen version of its sci-fi RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, for Xbox Series X and PS5 consoles sometime in late 2021. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077 launched in an infamously buggy state, so CD PROJEKT RED might want to pay extra attention with these.

The slide deck also reveals that CD PROJEKT RED is aiming to release the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for Xbox Series X and PS5 consoles in late 2021. Originally announced on September 4, 2020, this updated version of The Witcher 3 will feature a range of visual and technical improvements that include ray tracing and faster loading times. It also includes all game expansions, as well as extra items inspired by the live-action Netflix series starring Henry Cavill.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will be released as a standalone purchase for PC, Xbox Series X, and PS5 consoles. Those who already own the game on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 can get the update for free.

The next-gen console versions of Cyberpunk 2077 will presumably offer the same type of visual and technical improvements that The Witcher 3 is receiving, enabling an experience that’s closer to the PC.
