Marvel Studios has shared the first trailer for its next Disney+ series, Hawkeye.

As indicated by the show’s title and promotional material released thus far, Hawkeye will center on the titular Avenger played by Jeremy Renner while adding Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, the third character and first female to take the Hawkeye name. Two Hawkeyes are better than one, of course.

The show will address the consequences of Clint Barton’s role as the vigilante Ronin, an alias that the Avenger adopted in between the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame to cope with his family being temporarily snapped out of existence. Hawkeye also appears to lean heavily into the Christmas season, which is quite appropriate based on when the show will release.

Disney+ and Marvel Studios invite you on an unexpected holiday getaway, unwrapping the Official Trailer and Teaser Poster for Hawkeye, a new series set in post-blip New York City. Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

Hawkeye will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ on November 24. It will be followed by numerous other superhero shows that include Ms. Marvel, which is reportedly releasing this year, as well as Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Secret Invasion in 2022.
