Contrary to previous reports, Intel’s 12th Gen “Alder Lake-S” desktop CPUs will launch in early rather than late November. This has been tipped by a new MSI promotion regarding free mounting upgrade kits for the MAG CORELIQUID R and MPG CORELIQUID K Series, which lists a starting date of November 4, 2021. Sources with VideoCardz have confirmed that this is the date that Alder Lake-S will be available.

Event Period:

Additionally, Wccftech’s Usman Pirzada has revealed that Intel fans can pre-order the company’s 12th Gen Core processors beginning on October 27. This is also the date when the chips will be officially announced. Reviews are embargoed until the November 4 launch date.

Only select 12th Gen Intel Core SKUs will supposedly be released on this date, but they’re expected to include the Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, and Core i5-12600K. Intel’s initial Alder Lake volley should also include some KF-series models.
