Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Launches on March 18, 2022 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC

Square Enix has confirmed the release date for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, a new Final Fantasy game developed by Ninja Gaiden and Nioh developer Team NINJA. The game will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store starting on March 18, 2022.

From Square Enix’s press release:

STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN blends challenging and strategic action gameplay with the world and lore of the FINAL FANTASY series to create a unique action RPG experience. Join Jack and his allies as they throw open the gates to the Chaos Shrine and step into a world of dark fantasy and exhilarating battles to discover if they are truly the Warriors of Light the prophecy foretold.

Complementing the announcement, Square Enix has released a new trial version of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin that’s available now for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. It is an expansion of the original trial from June that includes the Refrin Wetlands, an additional stage of the game, as well as a new ally and new playstyles to try in battle.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Trial Version 2 will be available for download until October 11, 2021.
