Benchmarks for one of Intel’s more budget-oriented Alder Lake desktop CPUs, the 12th Gen Core i5-12400, have leaked out once again courtesy of China’s Bilibili platform. The new metrics suggest that the 6C/12T processor will offer better single-core and multi-core performance than AMD’s Zen 3-based 6C/12T alternative, the Ryzen 5 5600X. Both of these are 65-watt processors.
Comparisons shared by Wccftech:
The 12th Gen Core i5-12400 is a 6C/12T processor that’s rumored to feature 18 MB of cache and cost around $200. Clock speeds are still a mystery, but Intel is expected to share the official specifications for its range of Alder Lake chips for mainstream desktops relatively soon.
