Nintendo Reveals Release Date and Pricing for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Membership with N64 and Genesis Titles

Nintendo has confirmed the release date and pricing for its new Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, which grants access to additional benefits over the standard tier such as the ability to the play classic N64 and Sega Genesis titles.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will launch on October 25, 2021. The individual membership costs $49.99 for 12 months, while the family membership costs $79.99 for 12 months. For comparison, the standard Nintendo Switch Online membership costs $3.99 for one month, $7.99 for three months, and $19.99 for 12 months. The standard family membership costs $24.99 for 12 months.

Get access to a library of Nintendo 64 games with newly added online play for up to 4 players, as well as retro SEGA Genesis classics!

All the other great benefits of a Nintendo Switch Online membership are also included, such as access to 100+ classic NES and Super NES games, exclusive online matches in the Tetris 99 and PAC-MAN 99 games, online play in some of your favorite games, and more!

In addition to classic N64 and Sega Genesis titles, the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion membership will include access to Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise. This is DLC that centers on the creation of vacation homes for clients on resort islands.
