NVIDIA Shares Ray Tracing Requirements for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

NVIDIA has shared a new table of recommended PC specifications for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, detailing the kind of hardware that players will need to see the game at its best with ray tracing enabled. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 with Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X is listed for the ideal experience at 4K (Ultra Detail/RT Ultra), while a GeForce RTX 3070 with Intel Core i5-10600 and AMD Ryzen 5 3600X will suffice for the RT High setting (1440p/High Detail/RT Very High). The recommended amount of memory for the majority of tiers is 16 GB.

NVIDIA has also taken the opportunity to remind prospective players that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be supported on GeForce NOW:

Additionally, developer Eidos-MontrĂ©al has shared a new behind-the-scenes video that demonstrates how Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy might look running on GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards with ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS enabled. The game will be released next week on October 26, 2021.
