Resident Evil Village and Monster Hunter Rise are both getting free DLC. This has been confirmed by Capcom’s head of development, Yoichi Egawa, who noted that both titles will be getting additional content at no cost to players in a new financial report. Both games were developed using Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE.

From Capcom’s report:

Further, we will drive our customer management to understand the playing trends and preferences of users while also building a business model for online operations, taking into account the situation of our free additional DLC for titles such as Monster Hunter Rise and Resident Evil Village.

Monster Hunter Rise won’t be released for the PC until January 12, 2022, but Resident Evil fans who haven’t dipped into the eighth installment of the long-running survival horror franchise yet can grab Village on sale at Steam and other retailers. The game is currently available for as low as $29.78 at stores such as Voidu.
