There’s the FHD IPS AM242 and AM272 all-in-one PCs, which also function as an external monitor and include a webcam cover for privacy. MSI has also launched the 2.3L PRO DP21 and 13L PRO DP130 compact form factor desktop PCs, which are VESA mountable. The Summit monitors feature up to 4K resolution and 136 percent sRGB and 95 percent DCI-P3 support. The new Modern All-In-One Series is designed with comfort and productivity in mind. A mix of function and aesthetics, the AM242 and AM272 use MSI’s exclusive anti-flicker and anti-glare, and low blue light technology to reduce potential eye strain. The Modern series supports 12th generation Intel® Core™ processors and Windows 11 so users can easily power their workdays. A built-in webcam with MSI Sound Tune software helps cancel out background noise for clearer calls, while a removable webcam cover ensures privacy when not in use. Instant Display technology means the MD242 and MD272 can function as an external monitor without turning on for increased flexibility. An FHD IPS panel and physical control knob round out the improved user experience.

With a strong background in the gaming space, MSI knows how to build powerful machines. The brand-new PRO series desktops, PRO DP21 and PRO DP130, pack high performance into a compact form factor that fits any workspace. MSI Center allocates system hardware and software resources to avoid unnecessary system workload, while 12th generation Intel® Core™ i7 processors and up to NVIDIA graphics help users speed through video editing or even gaming. TPM 2.0 adds additional security features, and the new Smart Image Finder helps find photos by keywords during creative tasks. At 2.3L and 13L, respectively, these portable powerhouses are ideal partners for business users on the go. The PRO DP series is also VESA mountable so that they can be hidden away with ease.

For a blend of accurate color reproduction and advanced technology, MSI presents the brand-new Summit Monitor Series. With factory pre-calibrated displays guaranteeing industry-leading color fidelity, the panels offer 4K (3840×2160) resolution, 136% of sRGB, and 95% of DCI-P3. That means smoother color gradations, better uniformity, and high color accuracy. Users can even save color parameter profiles directly to the monitor – no external PC required. Beyond ensuring users’ projects look good, MSI’s exclusive Product Intelligence (P.I.) App improves efficiency. Active Noise Cancellation improves conference calls, Smart Brightness & Color Temperature automatically detect surrounding ambient light levels to adjust on-screen brightness and color temperature, and KVM allows users to use a single mouse and keyboard across devices. Whether photo editing or blasting through spreadsheets, the Summit MS321 has users covered.

MD241 Series

As Pablo Picasso said, “Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions.” MSI firmly believes that color is a form of nonverbal communication that brings ideas, feelings, and emotions to life. With this in mind, the redesigned Modern MD241 series is now available in seven colors to match décor, and individual style. Technology is a great tool but can also be an accessory and expression. MSI gives consumers the options to be minimal in black or white or stand out with red, yellow, blue, green, or purple. Beyond the exterior, the MD241 can be rotated 90 degrees and swiveled for an ergonomic setup along with MSI’s anti-glare, anti-flicker, and low blue light technology. USB Type C and HDMI connectivity round out the package.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
