Ninja Theory has released an update for the PC version of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice that puts it in line with the Xbox Series X|S editions of the game. Echoing the visual enhancements introduced by the next-gen console patch from August, Hellblade players on PC can now enjoy the game with ray-traced reflections and shadows alongside other improvements such as upgraded particles and level of detail. Performance can also be boosted courtesy of NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution support.

Ninja Theory also added a handful of new accessibility options to its award-winning dark fantasy game:

It’s important to us that Hellblade not only looks great, but it plays great for everyone. We’re happy to announce that we have added an all-new accessibility options screen with features to help more people experience Senua’s journey. These options include full controller remapping, subtitle customisation, colour blindness settings, and more. This accessibility update is also available today for players on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was originally released for the Windows and PS4 platforms in 2017 and ultimately made its way to the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S consoles in 2018, 2019, and 2021, respectively. The game is also available to play through the cloud via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
