NVIDIA confirmed the GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB in this week’s GeForce Game Ready Driver update. A new page has revealed that NVIDIA will not be offering a Founders Edition; it will only be available from board partners. The product page previously showed the Founders Edition label, but NVIDIA says that was an error.

“The price will vary depending on the specific model and region. It is a premium version of the RTX 2060 6GB and we expect the price to reflect that. Please contact our AIC partners for specific product details and pricing,” NVIDIA said. According to The Verge, the new model will launch December 7.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
