The second free game that the Epic Games Store is gifting as part of its 15 Days of Free Games promotion is Neon Abyss.

Developed by Xiamen-based indie studio Veewo Games, Neon Abyss is a roguelike action platformer that throws players into evolving dungeons, delivering a fresh experience every time as they attempt to help their characters reach their ultimate goal of finding a cure for an immortal curse. The game will be available for free on the Epic Games Store until tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. (EST).

The official game description:

Neon Abyss is a frantic, roguelike where you run ‘n’ gun your way into the Abyss as part of the ‘Grim Squad’. Featuring unlimited item synergies and a unique dungeon evolution system, each run diversifies the experience and every choice alters the ruleset.

Neon Abyss is one of the best roguelite action games to come along in recent memory,” according to one review indexed on OpenCritic. “Given how many great roguelites we’ve seen the past few years, that’s definitely a tall order. But thanks to its smooth gameplay and compelling upgrade systems, there’s no denying just how entertaining and exhilarating Neon Abyss is.”
