The eighth title that the Epic Games Store is giving away as part of its 15 Days of Free Games promotion is Vampyr, an action role-playing game developed by French studio DONTNOD Entertainment.

As the title might indicate, Vampyr is a game that centers around the classic, blood-thirsty creatures prevalent in horror, putting players into the shoes of a London doctor who gets turned into a vampire and must feed on others to survive. The game will be available for free on the Epic Games Store until tomorrow (12/24/21) at 11:00 a.m. (EST).

Vampyr manages to deliver on its promise to make choices matter,” reads a review shared by Epic Games. “Every decision has implications that spider out in unseen directions, often far into the future. While there are some wobbles in terms of combat and load times, the engaging storyline and premise carry this title far.”

Vampyr’s normal selling price is $39.99. Its developer, DONTNOD, is also known for 2013’s Remember Me, a futuristic action-adventure game that was published by Capcom, and the episodic adventure games Life Is Strange and Tell Me Why.
