The ninth game that the Epic Games Store has decided to give away as part of its 15 Days of Free Games promotion is the Enhanced Plus Edition of Pathfinder: Kingmaker, an isometric action RPG developed by Russian studio Owlcat Games.
Published by Prime Matter, Pathfinder: Kingmaker is based on Paizo Publishing’s popular RPG universe of the same name and is notable for featuring a soundtrack by Inon Zur, the composer behind Crysis, Fallout 3, and other great titles. Pathfinder: Kingmaker – Enhanced Plus Edition will be available for free on the Epic Games Store until tomorrow (12/25/21) at 11:00 a.m. (EST).
“With the help of over 18,000 Kickstarter backers and composer Inon Zur, Owlcat Games is proud to bring you the first isometric computer RPG set in the beloved Pathfinder tabletop universe,” a game description reads. “Enjoy a classic RPG experience inspired by games like Baldur’s Gate, Fallout 1 and 2 and Arcanum. Explore and conquer the Stolen Lands and make them your kingdom!”
Pathfinder: Kingmaker – Enhanced Plus is normally sold for $19.99 on the Epic Games Store. Developer Owlcat Games released its sequel, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, just a few months ago in September 2021 for the Windows and Mac platforms.
