Diamond Multimedia is back in the game following a years-long hiatus from the graphics card business.

As spotted by VideoCardz, Diamond Multimedia’s official website has been updated with a listing for a Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card, which seems to suggest that the company is willing to try its hand at profiting from GPUs again. Diamond Multimedia hasn’t released a new graphics card since its Radeon RX 580 from 2017.

“Jump into imaginative virtual realms using the Diamond Radeon RX 6600 XT Graphics Card,” reads a description for the product. “Let our AMD LiquidVR technology transport you to remarkable virtual worlds unhindered by latency or compromise.”

“Feel the rush of groundbreaking gameplay, the deep connection with other virtual players, and the thrill of living out your favorite movies and experiences with the next wave of immersive VR and cutting-edge Radeon graphics.”

Diamond’s Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card is a match for AMD’s reference model, according to specifications shared by the company:

  • Bus Type: PCI Express 3.0 x16
  • Memory: 8GB GDDR6
  • Engine: AMD RX 6600 XT
  • Base: up to 1968 MHz
  • Boost: up to 2589 MHz
  • Game: up to 2359 MHz

Diamond is selling its Radeon RX 6600 XT for $729.99, which is quite a bit higher than the MSRP set by AMD ($329). The card also appears to be largely identical to PowerColor’s Radeon RX 6600 XT Fighter.
