Leaker Gremon55 has tweeted more alleged details regarding one of AMD’s upcoming rumored RDNA 2 refreshes, the Radeon RX 6950 XT. According to Greymon55, this graphics card will feature a boost clock of over 2.5 GHz, which seems like a decent improvement over the standard Radeon RX 6900 XT. That model features a boost frequency of 2.25 GHz. Greymon55 has also claimed that the Radeon RX 6950 XT will feature a TBP of 350 watts—a 50-watt increase over its standard sibling’s power specification.

  • AMD Navi 21 with 2.5 GHz+ clock speed is nothing extraordinary here, as there are models such as Sapphire Toxic Extreme (2730 MHz), Gigabyte AORUS Xtreme WF (2525 MHz), ASUS ROG STRIX LC (2525 MHz), or ASROCK OC Formula.
  • At this moment it is unclear if the RX 6950XT is using liquid cooling or rather a custom liquid cooling solution.
  • AMD’s new flagship is set to launch in Mid-April.
