Cooler Master has announced its V SFX Platinum power supplies, the company’s first PSUs to feature the new PCIe 5.0 power connector with 12+4 (16) pins.

Comprising both SFX-L and SFX form factor models, Cooler Master’s V1100 (1,100 watts) and V1300 (1,300 watts) Platinum power supplies feature a next-generation power connector that can be clearly seen in some of their marketing shots, which showcase a slightly unusual design with extended connectors. While Cooler Master has yet to confirm the exact specifications of its PCIe 5.0 power connectors, ongoing coverage suggests that they will provide up to 600 watts of power for future GPUs and graphics cards.
