Those of you who are in the market for a new DualSense controller (they’re also pretty good for PC games) will definitely want to go for one of the newer models, as a new teardown video from YouTuber TronicsFix can reveal that they come with more benefits than just fancy new colors. According to TronicsFix’s teardown, the new Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple versions of the DualSense that debuted in January feature beefier trigger springs, something that PS5 gamers with broken L2 and R2 triggers probably wish Sony had implemented at the start for its next-generation $69.99 peripheral. The new color variants also feature some changes to the analog stick modules, but it’s unclear whether they provide any improvements to functionality.
