Looking to blow off some steam? An effective way of doing that might be donning the virtual trenchcoat of the infamous “Postal Dude,” whose second adventure from Running with Scissors is free to grab right now courtesy of DRM-free storefront GOG. With this being a game from 2003, don’t expect the greatest graphics, but the destruction and chaos of Postal 2 should be equally as effective and controversial as it was nearly two decades ago. This offer is available until April 22, 2022. Coincidentally, Postal 4: No Regerts, the latest installment of the franchise, finally left its early access phase today, although reviewers don’t seem to be thrilled with what’s supposed to be the “true sequel” to Postal 2.

POSTAL 2 (GOG)

The one that re-started it all! The Dude shows up for his first day working at RWS and hilarity ensues! Fight cops! Rage against the Man! Snuff the Taliban! Buy Milk! Get an autograph from Gary Coleman! Forget what you know about first person shooters. Walk for a whole week in the Postal Dude’s shoes.

Freely explore fully 3-D open-ended environments. Interact with over 100 unique NPCs, marching bands, dogs, cats and elephants, protesters, policemen and civilians, with or without weapons. This is THE ultimate FPS for sandbox slaughter and mindless mayhem you are looking for!
