A notice posted on Polish news agency site PAP Biznes has revealed that MegaPixel Studio’s remake of Sega’s iconic light gun shooter, The House of the Dead, will be released for PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia on April 28 for $24.99. The game has been available on the Nintendo Switch since April 7, but these new ports might be of interest to fans who are looking to blast away hordes of zombies at higher resolutions and, potentially, greater graphical fidelity. The original House of the Dead was released in arcades in 1996 and has since been ported to multiple platforms, including Sega’s classic Saturn console.

“The Management Board of Forever Entertainment SA with its seat in Gdynia (hereinafter referred to as: the Company, the Issuer) announces the date of the world premiere of THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: Remake for Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One, PC (Steam, GOG) and Google Stadia ( hereinafter referred to as: the Game) as of April 28, 2022,” reads the notice on PAP Biznes.
