Turn 10 Studios’ next mainline installment of Forza Motorsport may be a cross-gen title that’s available to play on not only current-generation Xbox Series X|S consoles and PC, but also Microsoft’s older Xbox One hardware. That’s according to two alleged screenshots of the game that have been posted to the notorious GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, both of which supposedly stem from an Xbox One build that’s dated from July. The official website for the next Forza Motorsport game only has PC and Xbox Series X|S consoles listed as its release platforms, however.

Forza Motorsport Screenshots Leaked, Coming to Xbox One as Well (DualShockers)

Reddit user, Zorpalweapon, recently shared a post containing two work-in-progress images from the Xbox One build of Forza Motorsport. According to the leaker, the game will be a cross-gen title, and it seems like some content creators had already the chance to play it.

Hopefully, the moderator of the r/GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit confirmed that the images above are coming from a legitimate source. So, yes! You can actually have your first look at the in-game screenshots of FM before the official showcase which is assumed to be on June 12th, when the Microsoft and Bethesda showcase will go live!

Cross-gen titles have been criticized by some as a decision that supposedly prevents developers from leveraging the full power of new-generation hardware, but last year’s release of Forza Horizon 5 suggests that this won’t be much of a concern. Despite having to also release the game for Xbox One, Playground Games did a speculator job with optimizing the open-world racer, with visuals and performance that’s particularly stunning on more powerful systems.
