Square Enix’s 25th Anniversary Celebration Broadcast for Final Fantasy VII has concluded, and it did not disappoint, offering a look at a handful of new and exciting projects branching off from the original fan-favorite 1997 RPG. Among the titles that received new teasers today include Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the long-awaited sequel to FFVII Remake, and Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion, an HD remaster of the prequel to FFVII that originally launched for the PlayStation Portable in 2007. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is being designed so that people can enjoy this game whether they know the original game or not. In fact, new players might even enjoy starting their FINAL FANTASY VII journey with FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH. Cloud and his friends embark on a new journey in this game, and I believe that the scenes that they witness after leaving Midgar will give players a fresh, new experience. I can’t wait to share the intention behind naming the first title, “REMAKE,” and the second title, “REBIRTH.” In time, I hope to reveal what the third title will be called, and where this journey will ultimately lead.

Crisis Core -Final Fanasy VII- Reunion

The broadcast also marked the announcement of CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII- REUNION, a remaster of PlayStationPortable exclusive, CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII-. The 2007 cult classic action RPG and prequel to FINAL FANTASY VII. CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII-REUNION is a true remaster that follows the original story of SOLDIER 1st Class Zack Fair on his mission to find missing SOLDIER Genesis Rhapsodos, unraveling the stories of Cloud, Sephiroth, Aeith, Tifa and more. CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII- REUNION will launch this Winter on PlayStation 5, PlayStation4 (PS4), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, PC & Nintendo Switch.
