There remains little official indication as to when, or even if, Bloodborne will be getting a sequel, but that hasn’t stopped many fans from dreaming about what a potential follow-up might look like running on newer technologies. The latest comes by way of ENFANT TERRIBLE, who shared a fan concept trailer of Bloodborne II on their YouTube channel this week that leverages Epic Games’ latest and greatest engine, demonstrating how amazing a sequel to the acclaimed 2015 soulslike could look if developer FromSoftware were to adopt Unreal Engine 5 for the game. Bloodborne was released for the PlayStation 4 over half a decade ago but continues to draw fans for its gameplay, world building, and Lovecraftian themes. The game has since been succeeded by other acclaimed titles that include Dark Souls III, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Elden Ring.

Hunt your nightmares as you search for answers in the ancient city of Yharnam, now cursed with a strange endemic illness spreading through the streets like wildfire. Danger, death and madness lurk around every corner of this dark and horrific world, and you must discover its darkest secrets in order to survive.
