ViewSonic has announced the OMNI VX2418C, a new curved gaming monitor aimed at gamers who are on a stricter budget. The VX2418C features a curved (1500R) MVA anti-glare panel with a Full HD 1080p resolution, 3:000:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits of peak brightness, 165 Hz refresh rate, and 1 ms (MPRT) response time.

Users will also find support for AMD FreeSync Premium technology, enabling a tear-free and low-latency gaming experience. Connectivity options for the VX2418C comprise two HDMI 2.0 ports and a single DisplayPort (1.2). ViewSonic’s VX2418C is available beginning today through its online store and authorized retailers for $159.99.

  1. A 24 inch monitor has zero business being curved. Sigh..
    It's pointless. It's too small to need that. I definitely think it will be a worse display for it.
