GIGABYTE is the latest manufacturer to assure users that its 600 Series motherboards will receive new BIOSes that include support for Intel’s next-generation desktop processors.

A list of exact motherboards that will be receiving the new BIOS updates for 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” processors is yet to come, but GIGABYTE can confirm that they will be released “soon.” The list of motherboards that will be receiving the updates include Z690, B660, and H610 models.

GIGABYTE has been working closely with Intel to provide users the optimal performance, compatibility, and user experiences. Along with the coming new generation Intel Core processors, GIGABYTE R&D team has prepared well-verified BIOS code exclusively for Z690, B660, and H610 motherboards. This ensures users a perfect articulation for platform upgrade once the new processor hit the market.

GIGABYTE noted in its short press release that users can flash a BIOS file without having essential hardware components (e.g., the CPU) installed. This is thanks to the manufacturer’s ï¼ BIOS, Q-Flash, and Q-Flash Plus technologies.

GIGABYTE’s flagship Z690 motherboards include the Z690 AORUS MASTER, Z690 AORUS XTREME, and Z690 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE. The latter costs nearly $2,000 and counts “Thermal Reactive Armor with All in One Monoblock and NanoCarbon Baseplate” and “20+1+2 Phases Direct VRM Design with 105A Power Stage and Tantalum Polymer Capacitor” as some of its key features.
