GeForce NOW should now look better than ever via browser streaming.

As shared by NVIDIA in a new blog post, GeForce NOW has received new resolution and frame rate options for those who prefer to stream their games via Chrome or Edge browsers. GeForce RTX 3080 members should now find 1440p and 120 FPS options, a nice upgrade over the previous limits, which included only FHD resolution, according to a screenshot shared by the company.

RTX 3080 members can now level up their browser gameplay at up to 1440p and 120 frames per second. No app install is required — just open a Chrome or Edge browser on PC, go to play.geforcenow.com, select these new resolutions and refresh rates from the GeForce NOW Settings menu, and jump into games in seconds, with less friction or downloads.

NVIDIA has also confirmed that six new games will be headed to GeForce NOW this week.

  • Thymesia (New release on Steam, Aug. 18)
  • Century: Age of Ashes (Steam)
  • Clanfolk (Steam)
  • Coromon (Steam)
  • HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed (Steam)
  • Phoenix Point (Epic Games Store)
