AMD Ryzen Chipset Driver is now available for download. The new driver adds support for Microsoft’s next big OS update, Windows 11 22H2, which is rumored to release later next month on September 20, according to sources with Windows Central. A direct link to the Ryzen Chipset Driver installation package for Windows 10 and Windows 11 64-bit systems can be found here.

Known Issues

  • Sometimes custom install fails to upgrade to latest drivers.
  • Text alignment issues may be seen on Russian language.
  • Manual system restart required on Non-English OS after the installation is complete.
  • Windows Installer pop-up message may appear during the installation.
  • Uninstall summary log may incorrectly show uninstall status as fail on non-English OS.

  1. One hopes it's not Win 11 specific. I haven't made the leap yet and I don't intend to unless I am forced.

    Thx. I wonder if there is any real benefit of upgrading a standing system. I did have to upgrade when I did the 5700x cpu upgrade... other than new CPU/OS support one wonders if worth the effort. I don't like to update stuff just for the sake of "newness" if the current thing works fine.
