Spiral House has announced that PC Building Simulator 2 will be released on October 12. A sequel to Claudiu Kiss and The Irregular Corporation’s popular predecessor that tasked players with building and growing their own computer repair enterprise, among other challenges, the game is exclusive to the Epic Games Store and will be available to pre-purchase starting Wednesday, October 5, for 10% off the regular price of £19.99/€24.99/$24.99. This discount is valid until October 18.

“It’s a chance for us to do a lot of the things we couldn’t do before on a technical level,” said Sam “Caliburn” Hills, Senior Community Manager of PC Building Simulator during the sequel’s announcement in March. “We’re aiming to simultaneously add more depth to the simulation, increase options for customization, improve the ability to tinker, and to make a better-looking game…It’s hard work but right now everyone on the team is really hyped.”

From Spiral House:

Developed by Spiral House and published by Epic Games, PC Building Simulator 2 pushes the limits of virtual PC creation, rendering players’ dream machines in more detail than ever before.

With over 1,200 officially licensed parts from industry giants like AMD, Intel, NVIDIA and enthusiast brands like Thermal Grizzly, players will be able to customize and optimize their builds to the next level. And yes – that means even more RGB.

Alongside a challenging new 30+ hour career mode, PC Building Simulator 2 brings improved graphical fidelity, a host of new features to deepen the PC building experience, and steps up the realism of hardware and software simulation.

PC Building Simulator 2 will presumably never make it to Steam because of the developer’s close ties with Epic Games. The original is still available on Valve’s store, however, alongside various DLCs that include EVGA, AORUS, and Republic of Gamers workshops.
