GIGABYTE has announced the AORUS GeForce RTX 4090 Waterforce graphics card that features a 360mm AIO with 460mm long braided tubes. It has 3x 120 mm fans, a custom PCB, a copper baseplate, and the new 16-pin power connector. The graphics card also appears to be a 2-slot design which should come as a relief to builders concerned with the ever-growing stature of newer graphics cards. Most recently the AORUS GeForce RTX 4090 MASTER 24G graphics card was announced showing gargantuan proportions for an air-cooled card thus making liquid-cooled options even more appealing to some.

It appears that GIGABYTE has reused a design from the previous GIGABYTE AORUS Waterforce: RTX 3090 Ti thus confirming previous rumors the former Ampere flagship card might share a number of design specs with the new ADA GPUs. The latest card features a new logo but aside from that nearly everything seems to be the same, right down to a notch on the backplate for NVLink which was removed from the current RTX 40-series graphics cards. GIGABYTE has not revealed the full specs or price for the AORUS GeForce RTX 4090 but those wanting to get the most out of this ADA102 GPU may want to keep an eye out for it.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
