Darkwood and ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! are currently available to claim for free through the Epic Games Store. The first is a top-down survival horror game from Acid Wizard Studio that features no hand holding or quest markers and is “terrifying to play,” while the latter is a roguelike from HumaNature Studios that stars the eponymous alien rappers first introduced in the 1991 Sega Genesis classic. Both are up for grabs until 10/20/2022 at 11:00 a.m. ET.

Darkwood

Darkwood – a new perspective on survival horror. Scavenge and explore a rich, ever-changing free-roam world by day, then hunker down in your hideout and pray for the morning light.

ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!

ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove is a mash-up of the best features from the classic console games with a ton of funky fresh improvements. Relive the original roguelike game with new 4 player online and local co-op, crazy Earthlings, weird presents and aliens from Funkotron!

The Epic Games Store’s next freebies are Evoland Legendary Edition and Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition. Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition features all five add-on packs, including Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, and Broken Steel.
