Announced in June 2022, Street Fighter 6 will feature a new art style, a diverse roster of characters, and a new system built for creativity, according to Capcom, which has promised that the game will redefine the genre and welcome players from all gaming backgrounds.

“The game will feature modes from previous titles including – Arcade Mode, online matches, Training Mode, local versus battles, and more – all contained within Street Fighter 6’s Fighting Ground game mode,” Capcom noted. “We’re also bringing two brand new modes called World Tour and Battle Hub to expand upon Street Fighter 6’s unbeatable gaming experience.”

Street Fighter 6 is being developed on the RE Engine, the same engine that was used for Resident Evil Village, Devil May Cry 5, and other popular Capcom games.

Capcom will be hosting a second closed beta test for Street Fighter 6 from December 16 to 19 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
