Before Fallout 3 came Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brother of Steel, all of which are currently available to claim through the Epic Games Store at no cost as part of its ongoing 15 Days of Free Games promotion for gamers who aren’t familiar with the origins of the post-apocalyptic role-playing game franchise, which was originally introduced by Interplay with the release of the first title in 1997, over a decade before Bethesda got its hands on the property and presented a third mainline installment in 2008 to critical acclaim.

Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brother of Steel is available to claim through the Epic Games Store until 12/23/2022 at 11:00 a.m. ET.

Tomorrow’s freebie is going to be Encased, according to information shared by Dealab user billbil-kun, who is best known for leaking PlayStation Plus’ free titles ahead of Sony’s official announcements.

“A tactical sci-fi RPG set in an alt-1970’s, where an enormous and inexplicable artifact –the Dome– is discovered in a remote desert,” reads a description for the game. “Fight enemies, explore the anomalous wasteland, level up your character & join one of the forces in the ruined world.”

Encased is currently on sale for $9.89.
