Critics have claimed that NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4080 graphics cards aren’t selling as well as the company might have hoped due to reasons that include its starting price of $1,199, but activity at certain retailers seem to suggest otherwise, one being Newegg, whose Best Sellers section lists various GeForce RTX 4080 models within the top ten spots at the time of this posting.

Sitting in the number one spot currently is the GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4080 Video Card GV-N4080GAMING OC-16GD, a custom version of the GeForce RTX 4080 from GIGABYTE that is listed for $1,269.99.

“The WINDFORCE cooling system features three 110mm unique blade fans, alternate spinning, 11 composite copper heat pipes, a large vapor chamber directly touches the GPU, 3D active fans and Screen cooling, which together provide high efficiency heat dissipation,” reads a description for the Windforce Cooling System, one of the key features that GIGABYTE is advertising for its GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GAMING OC graphics card.

Other GeForce RTX 4080 models that are selling well based on Newegg’s list are the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 Video Card TUF-RTX4080-O16G-GAMING, GIGABYTE EAGLE OC GeForce RTX 4080 Video Card GV-N4080EAGLE OC-16GD, and MSI Gaming (MSI) GeForce RTX 4080 Video Card RTX 4080 16GB GAMING X TRIO, with various GeForce RTX 30 Series models rounding out the best sellers.

AMD’s Radeon graphics cards aren’t seen until the tenth spot, which is occupied by the ASRock Radeon RX 6700 XT Challenger D Gaming, followed by the MSI Mech Radeon RX 6600 Video Card RX 6600 MECH 2X 8G and SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 7900 XT, a recent release based on the RDNA 3 architecture that is listed for $899.99.

The best selling GeForce RTX 4090 based on Newegg’s list is the MSI Gaming (MSI) GeForce RTX 4090 Video Card RTX 4090 GAMING TRIO 24G, which can be found in 24th place.
