The Epic Games Store’s 15 Days of Free Games promotion continues with Encased, a tactical, isometric sci-fi RPG from Dark Crystal Games that takes players to an alternate, post-apocalyptic 1970s inspired by the classic Fallout games, practically all of which were coincidentally available for free yesterday on the Epic Games Store up until this morning.

“A classic isometric RPG set in a dystopian environment allowing you to fight enemies, explore the hostile wasteland, level up your character and join one of the forces in the ruined world that survived through the horrific Incident, isolated from the rest of the world,” reads a description for Encased, a relatively new game that launched for PC on September 7, 2021.

“After getting familiar with the world, dive into an open world full of freedom and danger. The old order is gone, now five powerful factions rule over the wasteland. Join one of them or be a lone wolf. Change the future of the Dome and its inhabitants or go your own way.”

Encased is free to claim from the Epic Games Store until 12/24/2022 at 11:00 a.m., ET.

The next freebie that Epic Games is gifting as part of its 15 Days of Free Games promotion appears to be another post-apocalyptic title in the form of Metro, as suggested by the M letters that can be seen in the latest teaser image, which appear to be identical with the one used for the franchise’s logo.

It’s unclear which Metro game this will be, but the Epic Games Store has various Metro titles listed, including Metro 2033 Redux, Metro Last Light Redux, and Metro Exodus, the latest installment of the series that features improved ray tracing and other modern features, as introduced in the Enhanced Edition.

Metro Exodus is available for $8.99 as part of the Epic Games Store’s ongoing holiday sale, which concludes on January 5, 2023.

Also free beginning today is Greak: Memories of Azur, a side scrolling single-player game with hand-drawn animations that can be claimed on GOG until December 26.

“You will take the role of three siblings: Greak, Adara and Raydel to guide them through the lands of Azur,” reads a description of the game from Navegante Entertainment. “Alternate control between them and use their unique abilities to escape from the Urlag invasion.”

A deluxe edition of Greak: Memories of Azur that includes an orchestral soundtrack, digital artbook, and other bonuses is also available for $9.91 as part of GOG’s Winter Sale.
