Antec has revealed two new additions to its P-series PC case line with the PC20C and P20CE mid-tower E-ATX gaming chassis. The Antec P20C and P20CE mid-tower cases follow a trend with a less-is-more type of design. Neither case offers an emphasis on RGB but does incorporate an airflow design with top/bottom/front/back mesh and then solid side panels. The only difference between the two is that the P20C features a tempered glass side panel while the P20CE has a sound-dampening metal panel for those who care more about a simpler PC appearance with decreased audio levels.

Even though Antec lists these as mid-tower gaming cases they each can support a dual-CPU motherboard up to an E-ATX board, thus providing users the option for a server-type solution. The drive bay allows for up to 4 drives and includes a removable drive cage with a tool-free 3.5″ tray. PSUs can be easily installed via a rear-mount design and a removable, adjustable GPU holder, which allows for vertical GPU installation, is also provided. The cases come with 3x 120mm PWM fans in the front panel but other configurations also include up to 2x 360 mm radiators (front/top) and a 120 mm (rear).

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
