Gameplay Performance at 1080p

We are going to focus on the 1080p gameplay performance with the Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition video card on this page. We will test Ray Tracing on the next page. We will include XeSS, FSR, and DLSS performance on the same graph in the games that are supported.  For video card comparisons we are using an MSI GeForce RTX 3050 GAMING X and SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 6600 GAMING.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO)

We are going to include CS:GO in this review, because it is an older game, based on DX9, and quite popular. CS:GO was released on September 23, 2014, and uses the Source engine. This game runs in DX9, and will be a good test for an older API on Intel Arc A770, plus, this game recently got a driver update from Intel improving performance. We will utilize the workshop FPS benchmark from uLLeticaL.

Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition Video Card CS:GO Performance Graph

Considering that DX9 has been a weak spot for Intel Arc, the Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition is doing competitively good in CS:GO at 1080p. It’s providing 389FPS at 1080p, so you’ll get super smooth 120Hz, 144Hz, 240Hz, and 360Hz gameplay out of it for your high fresh rate monitor. It has all the performance necessary to provide that high level of gameplay on high fresh rate monitors at 1080p. It’s not far off from GeForce RTX 3050 performance, only 3% slower, so it’s right on par with RTX 3050 performance in this game. DX9 performance has definitely improved on Intel Arc in this game. The Radeon RX 6600 is the faster card here, beating even the RTX 3050 as well by 22%.

Forspoken

Forspoken was released on January 24th, 2023, on the PC and uses the Luminous Engine. The game supports all upscaling methods, including NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS, and Ray Tracing. Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition Video Card Forspoken performance graph

Wow is all we can say about Forspoken performance in regards to Intel Arc A750. It is beating both the Radeon RX 6600 and GeForce RTX 3050 in this game, by a lot. At 44FPS the game is not playable until you enable XeSS and then it’s borderline. Optimally you will still want to lower some in-game settings to achieve smoother gameplay. This game is rough on everything though, and it’s rougher on the RX 6600 and RTX 3050. The Intel Arc A750 is 22% faster than the Radeon RX 6600 and 42% faster than the GeForce RTX 3050! These are factory-overclocked cards as well remember, and the Intel Arc A750 is still beating factory-overclocked RX 6600 and RTX 3050. Enable XeSS at the highest quality mode improves performance by 9%. In reality, as we said, to make this gameplay smooth you’ll be lowering some of the settings from the highest settings, one notch down really from ultra settings, to high, which does the trick on Intel Arc A750 in Forspoken at 1080p. The gameplay experience is simply better on Intel Arc A750 in this game.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II was released on October 27, 2022, on the PC and uses the IW 9.0 gaming engine. The game supports all upscaling methods, including NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Image Scaling, AMD FSR 1.0, AMD Fidelity FX CAS, and Intel XeSS. We use the highest quality option of each. We customize every graphics setting to the maximum value for the best image quality and enable everything. We use the built-in benchmark.

Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition Video Card Call of Duty Modern Warfare II performance graph

In Call of Duty Modern Warfare II the Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition offers a phenomenal gameplay experience at 1080p. It allows 71FPS average, allowing for an above 60FPS experience at 1080p with the absolute highest game settings. The game is super smooth. You can enable XeSS in this game and boost framerates by 8%. Optionally, if you do need more framerate, you can lower graphics settings by one notch from ultra to high settings. We are testing maximum settings here. The Intel Arc A750 is 22% faster than the GeForce RTX 3050, a factory overclocked one as well, which is amazing. The Arc A750 is only 9% slower than the Radeon RX 6600. Now, the Radeon RX 6600 offers more performance with FSR at 101FPS, but remember, you can also run FSR on the Intel Arc A750 and also get this same performance. XeSS is on par with DLSS performance on the RTX 3050.

F1 2022

F1 2022 was released on June 28th, 2022 on the PC and uses Codemasters Ego engine.  The game supports Ray Tracing, DLSS, AMD FidelityFX, and FSR.  We are going to run the game with the highest quality settings of “Ultra High” and TAA+FidelityFX.  We will enable DLSS and FSR as needed at the Quality setting for both.  We will utilize the built-in benchmark in the Imola track, in dry conditions with a far-chasing cam.

Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition Video Card F1 2022 performance graph

In F1 2022 we are running maximum game settings, and the Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition offers a very playable gameplay experience at 98FPS average. Most of the performance is over 60FPS the entire time, so you can really enjoy this game smoothly, at maximum settings no less at 1080p. Turning on FSR boosts the framerate over 100FPS by 20%. It is however slower than the RTX 3050 and Radeon RX 6600 in this game, but compared to the RTX 3050 it is only 5%, so they are very close in performance. The Radeon RX 6600 is a good bit faster though, technically, the A750 is 24% slower than it.

The Intel Arc A750 is 28% faster than the GeForce RTX 3050. Turning on FSR also boosts performance by 18% up to 112FPS. This also means 1440p is very playable with the Intel Arc A750 in Far Cry 6 with more than 60FPS gameplay.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 was released in December of 2020 and uses the REDengine 4. We have the game patched to version 1.61 and utilize the built-in benchmark. We test using the Graphics Preset option to set graphics settings, mainly “Ultra”.  This game supports DLSS and FSR2.
