Cities: Skylines II Announced for Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S

The original Cities: Skylines has already been praised by many as being one of the best city simulation games ever, but developer Colossal Order Ltd. has evidently been busy with something that should take the genre to even greater heights. Revealed during today’s Paradox Announcement Show 2023, Cities: Skylines II is a new mainline installment of the franchise that aims to evolve the city-building genre further, one that will allow players to build the cities of their dreams with the most open-ended city-building sandbox on the planet, according to publisher Paradox Interactive. Cities: Skylines II hasn’t received a release date yet, but the game, which is coming in 2023 and described as the most realistic city builder ever, is available for wishlisting at Steam.
