NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.29 WHQL Released with Fix for Higher CPU Usage from NVIDIA Container

NVIDIA has released GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.29 WHQL. According to NVIDIA’s release highlights, the new driver fixes three bugs, including the one where GeForce users might experience higher CPU usage from the NVIDIA Container after exiting a game. It also addresses stability issues on certain laptops with GeForce GTX 10/MX250/350 series GPUs and Adobe applications. The CPU usage bug was initially addressed by NVIDIA through the 531.26 hotfix driver, but GeForce users who are still suffering from the problem can now grab this release instead.

This new Game Ready Driver provides the best gaming experience for the latest new titles supporting NVIDIA DLSS 3 technology including Atomic Heart and the closed Beta of THE FINALS.

  • Higher CPU usage from NVIDIA Container might be observed after exiting a game [4007208]
