Google fans have a bunch of foldable smartphones they can pick from on today’s market, but soon, the choice should be much easier. According to sources with WinFuture, Google is planning to announce its first foldable smartphone, the Google Pixel Fold, during its Google I/O developer conference ahead of a June release, and while that event isn’t scheduled to begin until May 10, a gallery of images that HowToiSolve and @OnLeaks shared last month can seemingly confirm exactly what it will look like. Users can expect a design that falls in line with the recent Pixel phones, which are easily recognized by their camera bar. Separate leaks that tease the design of Google’s new Pixel 8 phones would suggest that this bar is here to stay.

From a WinFuture report:

Google hasn’t made any official announcements yet, but the Google I/O developer conference on May 10th is likely to be less of a launch event and more of a launch event for various products. In addition to new AI services, Google would then probably also want to present its latest smartphones. According to our information, the devices could end up on the market as early as the beginning of June.

As we have now learned, the Google Pixel Fold, which is the actual name of Google’s first smartphone with a foldable display, will probably go on sale in Europe as early as the second week of June. In any case, dealer databases spit out this information for the device, although they have only mentioned one storage variant so far.

The Google Pixel Fold will initially only be available with 256 GB of internal flash memory. The smartphone will not be particularly cheap either, as prices of around 1700 euros are mentioned. However, the price indication is by no means reliable.

Google also wants to offer its first folding smartphone in two color variants, which are referred to as “Carbon” and “Porcelain”. It should be a dark gray or black and some kind of white or beige. Furthermore, at least three colored covers for the smartphone with a foldable display can be expected.
