@momomo_us shared an Intel Media SDK GPU Runtime document yesterday that revealed Intel’s 14th Gen Core processors are based on the Meteor Lake architecture, but that may not be the full story. According to a recent claim by leaker “Golden Pig Upgrade Pack,” Intel’s desktop lineup of 14th Gen Core processors actually comprises a Raptor Lake refresh, which, assuming that both the rumor and the information found in the runtime document are true, would suggest that the Meteor Lake chips are exclusive to mobile—an idea that was previously teased by @OneRaichu in February. An Intel roadmap can confirm that Raptor Lake-S Refresh CPUs will enter production by Q3 2023.
