Focus Entertainment has shared a new trailer that can confirm Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun will be released for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on May 23, 2023. This is a first-person “boomer shooter” from Auroch Digital that is set in the Warhammer universe, featuring retro graphics inspired by classic FPS games, including those from the 3D Realms and Build engine era. The Warhammer franchise celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and while Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun appears to be Auroch Digital’s first attempt at a classic FPS, Warhammer fans can pre-purchase the game now at a discount for $19.79.

“The folks at Auroch Digital got in contact with my team and asked if I would be interested in voicing the protagonist”, said Rahul Kohli, actor and devout Ultramarines fan. “It was an immediate yes!”
