Thermaltake has announced that its new SWAFAN GT12/14 cooling fans are now available for purchase as part of a single-fan pack in 12 cm and 14 cm sizes for $29.99 and $34.99. Representing Thermaltake’s first non-RGB fan with a swappable fan blade design, these new fans feature three types of swappable fan blades within the package (High Static Pressure, High Air Flow, and Reverse Air Flow), allowing users to easily accommodate different PC-building scenarios. The SWAFAN GT series also comes with a new cable-integrated daisy-chain design, something that Thermaltake says minimizes cable demands by implementing better cable management.

Thermaltake SWAFAN GT12/14 PC Cooling Fan Features

  • 3 Types of Detachable Fan Blades For You to SWAP
    • The SWAFAN GT has three types of fan blades, the pre-installed high static pressure fan blade, the high airflow fan blade, and the reverse high airflow fan blade. With all the options in your hands, you can swap your fan blades to accommodate different PC-building scenarios.
  • High Static Pressure Fan Blade: Sufficient Cooling Energy
    • High Static Pressure Fan Blade is pre-installed onto the fan frame for users with instant demand for high static pressure fans. With its static pressure, the High Static Pressure Fan Blade is designed explicitly to cope with high air resistance objects, such as radiators or chassis’ with multiple tempered glass panels.
    • SWAFAN GT12: 3.17 mm-H2O static pressure/ 54.71 CFM airflow/ 26.5 dB-A noise level
    • SWAFAN GT14: 3.33 mm-H2O static pressure/ 100 CFM airflow/ 34.3 dB-A noise level
  • High Air Flow Fan Blade: Strong Cooling Performance
    • An additional fan blade in the box is the High Air Flow Fan Blade. You can switch out the high static pressure fan blade with the High Air Flow Fan Blade. Compared to high static pressure fan blades, the High Air Flow Fan Blade has a more significant airflow, so it’s recommended to use on a chassis that needs more air circulation to increase cooling performance.
    • SWAFAN GT12: 2.7 mm-H2O static pressure/ 62.23 CFM airflow/ 28.3 dB-A noise level
    • SWAFAN GT14: 2.76 mm-H2O static pressure/ 109 CFM airflow/ 32.7 dB-A noise level
  • Reverse High Air Flow Fan Blade: Simpler and Better Aesthetics
    • The third type of fan blade in the box is the Reverse High Air Flow Fan Blade. The Reverse High Air Flow Fan Blade brings the air from its back to its front, so there is no need to stare at the back of the fan for your desired airflow direction if you use the Reverse High Air Flow Fan Blades.
    • SWAFAN GT12: 2.23 mm-H2O static pressure/ 58.17 CFM airflow/ 29.8 dB-A noise level
    • SWAFAN GT14: 2.48 mm-H2O static pressure/ 107 CFM airflow/ 36.1 dB-A noise level
  • Don’t turn your back ever again!
    • Unleash the power of your fans, let the front steal the show!
  • Less Cables, Less Mess
    • Incorporates a new cable-integrated daisy-chain design that allows the fans to be directly connected, so it minimizes demands of 3-pin PWM ports on your motherboard and shortens the cable length between the fans. We’ve also included two extension cables for you to easily manage your cables while assembling your build.
  • Cleaning Fans is now Easy and Fun!
    • Pop and insert, it’s that easy. If you want, you can even rinse the fan blades with water, just make sure you dry them thoroughly and apply bearing lubricant that is included in the package if needed.
  • Anti-Vibration Mounting System
    • The anti-vibration rubber pad that can dampen the fan’s vibration, allowing the fan to spin at higher levels without generating high noise levels. The rubber pads are designed to cover a large surface of all corners, maintaining low noise levels when in operation.

The SWAFAN GT12/14 PC Cooling Fan is sold in a single fan pack and incorporates three types of detachable fan blades, including the pre-installed high static pressure fan blade, the high airflow fan blade and the reverse high airflow fan blade. The high static pressure fan blade generates high static pressure to cope with high air resistance objects like radiators or chassis with multiple tempered glass panels. The high airflow fan blade can provide stronger airflow to support air circulation in the chassis and enhance the overall cooling performance. Lastly, the reverse high airflow fan blade brings the air from its back to its front, so users can show the front of the fans without seeing the frame strips and compromising airflow direction. With these swappable fan blades, you can easily design your dream cooling system with the SWAFAN GT!

The SWAFAN GT series features PWM controlled and a unique 7(GT12) / 9(GT14) fan blade design. It is engineered to generate higher airflow, and the fan speed can support up to 2000 RPM, to achieve outstanding cooling performance. The Fan is also constructed with a LCP material fan blade and anti-vibration rubber pads on the corners of the fan, allowing the SWAFAN GT to spin at higher speeds with lower noise levels.

The SWAFAN GT series is easy to maintain. The detachable bearing fan design allows you to pop out the fan blades and clean them with water easily, once the fan blades are dried, apply the lubricant included in the package if needed and then press the fan blades back into the fan frame. In addition, the SWAFAN GT comes with a cable-integrated daisy-chain design, so you can install these fans with less cable and less mess. This design can daisy chain up to 3 fans simultaneously and minimizes the demands of 3-pin PWM ports on your motherboard, saving you time from cable management.

The SWAFAN GT 12/14 is designed for users who prefer their PC builds without lighting effects. With three types of detachable fan blades, superior cooling performance, high stability and durability, and a cable-integrated daisy-chain design, the SWAFAN GT is a functional PC cooling fan with high flexibility and low-key luxury aesthetics.
