AMD has decided to discontinue the Radeon RX 6650 XT after ~15 months on the market, according to a new rumor spotted by IT Home. The rumor, which stems from China’s Board Channels, claims that production for the RDNA 2 graphics card has already ceased, and that existing stock will likely be depleted by the end of September. AMD launched the Radeon RX 6650 XT alongside the Radeon RX 6950 XT and Radeon RX 6750 XT in May 2022, promising ultra-smooth, high-refresh rate 1080p gaming at max settings for an SEP of $399.

…AMD has stopped production for the RX 6650 XT, and basically all brands have sold out their stocks, and it is estimated that they will be almost sold out by the end of September .

IT Home has inquired and learned that AMD RX 6650 XT graphics cards have undergone several promotions and price reductions this year. The products of major brands are currently basically below 2,000 yuan, and even the lowest has dropped to 1,739 yuan , which further verifies the news of the revelation.
