Today we looked at the performance of the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID 360 ATMOS Cooler and stacked it up against various competitors using version two of our AIO testbed that delivers consistent wattage for each test through a 13900K processor.

One thing to point out is that this is a brand-new testbed, so none of the data in this article can be compared to any prior article that we have published on the performance of AIOs. Additionally, as we get to know the quirks of our new system over the coming months, we may make a few tweaks to improve it.

We’ll recap the performance below and see how the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID 360 ATMOS stood up to the heat in our kitchen!

Summary of Temperatures

From a temperature performance perspective, the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID 360 ATMOS did a fantastic job of cooling when its fans were running north of 1000 RPM, to the extent that they rivaled the Corsair H170i ELITE LCD 420mm unit that we reviewed a few months back. However, the cooling performance takes a hard nose dive at the slowest fan speeds where the MSI CORELIQUID E360 ended up performing much better.

Overall, the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID 360 ATMOS put on a solid performance against thee competition, and over the coming months, as we test our second generation test rig out, we’ll see how it falls against the additional competition.

Summary of Sound Levels

The Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID 360 ATMOS made its presence known when operating at full power, however, once backed off to 1500 RPM or lower, it blended in well with the background of the room.

Overall, your ears won’t notice if you’re running the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID 360 ATMOS between 1000 and 1500 RPM which gives it a great intersection between performance and sound levels.

Final Points

Based on the comparisons we tested on our new second-generation AIO, the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID 360 ATMOS is highly competitive and outperforms the two units we tested against. While we’ll test more in the coming months, it will become one of our reference comparisons for expected performance in our reviews.

SUMMARY

We tested the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID 360 ATMOS against a couple of other 360mm AIOs on our second generation AIO testbed and found that it delivered solid performance with a reasonable amount of noise and is positioned at a fair price.
