Deliver Us Mars 2.0 Update Adds New Ray Tracing Tech Called NVIDIA Hybrid Ray Tracing Translucency

Deliver Us Mars has received a major update that brings NVIDIA Hybrid Ray Tracing Translucency to KeokeN Interactive and Frontier Foundry’s atmospheric sci-fi adventure game. According to a write-up and RTX trailer that NVIDIA shared on the official GeForce site today, this is a new type of ray tracing technology that enables reflection and refraction effects on windows, helmets, cockpit glass, and other transparent and translucent surfaces that can be found in the game. The Deliver Us Mars 2.0 update also introduces a number of other big features, including Photo Mode and support for HDR.

  • Skip the NewGame prompt if there is no saved data.
  • Improved character skin material quality.
  • Level design improvements, geometry clean-ups and performance optimisations.

  • The climbing system now shows a deflect reaction when hitting an unclimbable, additionally, it will not allow the player to slam into the air.
  • Fixed dangling legs from clipping through each other during climbing gameplay.
  • Reduced pop-in, floating and/or clipping assets throughout the game.
  • Added previously missing gameplay face animations for characters.
  • Enabled capsule shadows on all shadow quality levels.
  • Chapter 9 now has a Martian dust storm.
  • Improved volume of credits music.
