200W Load Testing

For our 200W TDP clock testing, we have configured our CPU to run at a fixed all-core speed of 4.8GHz on the performance cores and 3.8GHz on the efficiency cores. This yields a fairly steady 200w CPU package power draw when running Cinebench. Stock settings were set for voltage (and all other defaults), and configured memory to XMP mode.

Max Fans – 100% Pump Speed

Starting our testing with a 200W load found the Enermax LIQMAXFLO 360 we found it delivered a 69-degree Celsius result, which was ahead of the PL360 FLUX’s 70-degree and the CORELIQUID E360’s 73-degree results, but it was two degrees behind the 360 ATMOS at 67 degrees.

Note that at this speed, the Enermax LIQMAXFLO 360 is running at 1900RPM, the MSI MAG CORELIQUID E360 at 1800 RPM, the PL360 FLUX at around 2300 RPM, and the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID 360 ATMOS at around 2500 RPM.

1500 RPM Fans – 100% Pump Speed

Syncing up the fan speeds at 1500 RPM finds the Enermax LIQMAXFLO 360 tied with the 360 ATMOs at 70 degrees Celsius and the CORELIQUID E360 and PL360 FLUX tied 4 degrees behind it at 74 degrees Celsius.

1000 RPM Fans – 100% Pump Speed

Dropping down to the 1000 RPM level we find the Enermax LIQMAXFLO 360 at 77 degrees Celsius where it ties the CORELIQUID E360 but both are defeated by two degrees by the 360 ATMOS. The PL360 FLUX brings up the rear at 81 degrees Celsius.

600 RPM Fans – 100% Pump Speed

At our slowest fan speed test, we find the Enermax LIQMAXFLO 360 and 360 ATMOS tied at 87 degrees Celsius, both beaten by the CORELIQUID E360 at 83 degrees. The PL360 FLUX overflexed and landed up at 94 degrees Celsius.

SUMMARY

The Enermax LIQMAXFLO 360 is targeted squarely at the value enthusiast market bringing RGB features and thermal performance that punches above its price tag. While it's a bit noisier than we'd like it to be due to our test methodology, it should be fine in your rig with properly set fan curves. The Enermax LIQMAXFLO 360 should be on your shortlist to be your AIO CPU cooler if you're on a budget.
