Developer IguanaBee Studios and publisher GameMill Entertainment have announced that Skull Island: Rise of Kong is now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam—but early players do not seem to be very happy with the new game that stars the kaiju who is now best known for jobbing to Godzilla. The new action-adventure title, which is currently available at a discounted price of $31.99 on Steam, is being blasted by people over social media, with some calling it “a complete scam” for reasons that appear to include bad graphics and amateurish cutscenes. Fans of King Kong are being urged to play Peter Jackson’s King Kong game instead, the official game for the movie that launched for PS2 and other consoles in 2005.
