Emdoor has revealed that it will be one of the first companies to release a gaming handheld powered by Arc 5 graphics and Meteor Lake, an all-new generation of mobile CPUs from Intel that is set for release this December under the company’s new Core Ultra branding. As noted by one of Emdoor’s reps, who is featured in a video that Notebook Italia shared this week, this chip is advertised with a TDP of 20 to 35 watts, making it more power hungry than alternatives that include the Valve Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally. “The battery can be used for less than 1 hour,” the rep says at one point during the demo for the device, which also counts an 8-inch screen and support for up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory among its specifications.
